Ultradent Products, Inc. Proudly Introduces Mosaic™ Universal Composite
February 21, 2017 South Jordan, Utah
Ultradent Products Inc. proudly introduces Mosaic™ universal composite, which balances beauty and performance for lasting, lifelike restorations. Mosaic composite can be used for all restorative purposes: basic or complex. Its well-balanced nanohybrid formula produces restorations of the highest quality. Combining the strength properties required for posterior use with the esthetic characteristics desired for anterior use, Mosaic universal composite ensures superior results both visually and functionally.
Mosaic universal composite’s smooth, pliable consistency allows for total control during manipulation. Once the material is shaped, it won’t flow or slump out of place. Available in 20 intuitive dental and enamel shades, it provides predictable shade matching using single, double, or multiple-layer techniques, as it was designed to emulate the same levels of translucency and opacity seen in natural dentition. Dentin and enamel shades also mimic the same fluorescence that occurs in natural dentin and enamel. The proprietary dispersion of nanofillers in Mosaic composite allows for a high polish and long-term gloss retention, allowing the restorations to maintain a long-term luster. Low volume shrinkage and low shrinkage stress reduce the potential for strain on the restoration during polymerization, while high compressive and flexural strength ensure that the restoration can withstand repetitive chewing and biting forces.
Mosaic universal composite comes in unique, four-gram syringes, featuring an innovative design with a smooth, contoured handle and barrel to allow for easy cleaning while still being easy to grip and identify. It is also available in convenient .2-gram unit-dose singles.

Ultradent Introduces New Enamelast® Fluoride Varnish Flavors
July 7, 2016 South Jordan, Utah
Ultradent Products, Inc. is excited to introduce three new delicious flavor offerings to its Enamelast fluoride varnish line: Cool Mint, Bubble Gum, and Orange Cream. The fluoride varnish is also available in the original Walterberry flavor.
Ultradent created Enamelast fluoride varnish in response to overwhelming demand for an effective varnish that doesn’t leave an unsightly, uncomfortable, or gritty residue. Enamelast varnish finally allows patients to leave the dental office with teeth that feel clean and smooth. In addition to its silky texture, Enamelast varnish appears nearly invisible against the teeth, eliminating the embarrassment that many patients feel after other varnish treatments.
For a fluoride varnish to provide the best results, it must adhere to the teeth for the entire recommended time. Enamelast varnish features a patented adhesion-promoting agent that enhances retention, making it easier for patients to receive its full benefits. Enamelast varnish’s natural feel also makes it more comfortable to wear for a longer amount of time, allowing for maximum fluoride uptake.
Enamelast fluoride varnish comes in two convenient delivery options: unit-dose blister packs or Ultradent’s signature syringe and tip application. The Enamelast varnish unit-dose blister packs provide an ideal delivery option for the clinician who prefers the convenience of a one-time use application, or for dental clinics in hospital settings that require the use of unit-dose treatments in which all materials are packaged together. Each blister pack includes a prefilled well and applicator brush, allowing the clinician to dip the brush in the well and paint the varnish on the teeth. Conversely, the syringe delivery facilitates the ability to express Enamelast varnish through Ultradent’s SoftEZ® tip directly onto the teeth for fast application. The clinician can also choose to express the varnish onto the back of their glove before painting onto the teeth. As opposed to the unit-dose blister packs, each syringe of Enamelast varnish provides enough varnish for three to four patients.

Ultradent Pledges Up to $30,000 to Victims of Pulse Nightclub Massacre in Orlando, Florida
June 14, 2016 South Jordan, Utah
Ultradent Products, Inc., has announced they will donate 5% of the company’s U.S. sales on Thursday, June 16 and Friday, June 17, up to $30,000, to the Equality Florida’s Pulse Victims Fund following the tragic massacre this past Sunday morning in Orlando.
Of the violent attack—which claimed the lives of 49 people and injured 53 others before law enforcement fatally shot the attacker—Dr. Fischer, founder and CEO of Ultradent said, “Once again, we are reminded that we are a country at war. But this terrorist upped the ante by targeting a group of our fellow Americans who bring no oppression to others. They are our sons and daughters who are simply singled out, oppressed, even persecuted simply because of who they are. This is so wrong! This is NOT what America is about! We must band together as Americans and do everything in our power to counter such craziness, be it here at home, and/or by extremists anywhere who preach and enact hate against all others.”
He went on to say, “The victims are our sons, daughters, and family members at all levels. Our hearts and prayers are with them.”
Last, Dr. Fischer, in his statement called for appropriate action to be taken by our nation’s top government officials, quoting Albert Einstein in saying “Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.”
He concluded by calling back to Ultradent’s Core Values, encouraging all people to “have courage and do the right thing!”
Showing one of Ultradent’s Core Values, Care, the company frequently donates to the Utah Food Bank, to various national and international dental humanitarian missions, and has made significant donations to national and international disaster and crisis victims, including Typhoon Haiyan, Hurricane Sandy, the Haiti Earthquake, flooding in Japan, and the recent earthquake in Ecuador.
