SOUTH JORDAN, UT, June 18, 2018 – The Australia division of Ultradent Products, Inc., is honored to have received the 2018 Dental Industry Leadership Award from the Australia Dental Industry Association. Of the award, ADIA says, “The award recognizes leadership embodied in the form of corporate accomplishments that reflect well on the dental industry, and thus encourage other companies to strive for greater success. The activities that merit this award include innovative product development, domestic or overseas market development, pioneering marketing campaigns, commitment to the ADIA, and environmental sustainability.”

Of choosing Ultradent Australia as this year’s winner, ADIA chief executive officer, Troy Williams said, “There were a record number of entries from businesses that have set the standard that others strive to achieve. It’s in this context that the team of Ultradent Products Australia can be immensely proud of their achievement.” He added, “We chose to recognize Ultradent Australia for its ability to grow from a little-known supplier locally, to an industry partner in just a few short years. From a team of one person in 2012, to a team of four people who contribute to strengthening the reputation of Australia’s dental industry for providing dental professionals with quality treatment options.”

Accepting the award on behalf of Ultradent was Jim Wilson, Ultradent’s general manager overseeing the company’s Asia/Pacific/Sub-Saharan African regions. Wilson said, “I’m very proud of our team in Australia and the hard work and accomplishments they’ve achieved to merit receiving this award.”

SOUTH JORDAN, UT, June 11, 2018 – Dr. Dan Fischer, founder and CEO of Ultradent Products, Inc., received the 2018 Distinguished Service Award from his dental school alma mater, Loma Linda University, on May 27, 2018. Loma Linda University awarded Dr. Fischer with the honor for his public attainments and commitment to excellence “which have contributed to mankind in a manner which is congruent with the mission of Loma Linda University Health,” said Dr. Richard H. Hart, president of Loma Linda University.

Dr. Dan Fischer traveled to Loma Linda University with his family over Memorial Day weekend to receive the special award at a commencement luncheon hosted by the university president. Of the recognition, Dr. Fischer said, “I felt both humbled and honored to receive this award. It was very meaningful to me that my alma mater recognized the work of Ultradent’s Diversity Foundation and other activities which have occurred and continue to occur with the help of a number of great people.”

Dr. Dan E. Fischer graduated from Loma Linda University dental school in 1974, after which he maintained a full-time practice for 15 years. Since 1990, he has practiced dentistry part-time while working extensively in the research and development of many revolutionary and award-winning products used in the dental profession via his international dental supply and manufacturing company, Ultradent Products, Inc.

In addition to his vast contributions to the dental industry, Dr. Dan Fischer, through Ultradent, supports numerous humanitarian causes throughout the world, including The Crown Council’s Smiles for Life program, Sealants for Smiles, many independent humanitarian missions, as well as his own 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation, The Diversity Foundation.
