read more »Ultradent Products, Inc. has partnered with Levin Group, Inc. to give dentists and two members of their staff an opportunity to attend an educational seminar free of charge. Levin Group offers “Increase Practice Production Now” seminars in various cities throughout the United States. Based on their research and experience as the world leader in dental practice management and marketing consulting, Levin Group seminars educate dentists and their staff how proven business systems generate rapid practice growth. Levin Group’s chairman and CEO, Roger P. Levin, DDS, teaches dentists how to improve the business performance of their practices. Educational objectives include using step-by-step systems to:
- Increase practice profitability
- Grow the number of new patients through customer service and internal marketing
- Motivate patients to accept treatment and refer others by increasing production pace
- Utilize scheduling systems to increase production
- Use scripts to shift from patient communication to patient motivation
- Set and track performance targets to reach goals
- Implement practical techniques for building and leading a great practice team.
The course will offer dentists the opportunity to earn up to 10 continuing education credits.

Ultradent Products, Inc. Welcomes Dr. Steven Glassman as a Featured Lecturer

read more »Ultradent Products, Inc. is proud to welcome Dr. Steven Glassman as a featured lecturer at several one-day courses taking place across the United States during 2013. Dr. Glassman’s course, titled “Minimally Invasive Techniques for Maximum Smile Enhancement and Health,” closely examines the dental/medical connection, addressing particular studies that show how caries, periodontal disease, and tooth wear affect total health, and how these conditions can be diagnosed and treated using a minimally invasive approach. The course will also feature practical ways dental professionals can effectively market minimally invasive techniques in their practices using digital photography and social media. Each course will give clinicians the opportunity to earn up to six continuing education credits.
Dr. Glassman graduated from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery with his doctor of dental surgery degree in 1984. He is a founding member of the World Congress of Microdentistry and belongs to many dental associations, including the American Dental Association, the New York County Dental Society, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Glassman has published numerous articles in top industry journals and was the recipient of the TopDoc New York Award in 2010. When he’s not traveling all over the world educating other dental professionals in the newest technologies in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Glassman practices with his wife, Dr. Debra Glassman, in their New York City cosmetic dental practice.

read more »Ultradent Products, Inc. is proud to welcome Dr. Hal Stewart as a featured lecturer at several one-day courses taking place across the United States during 2013. Dr. Stewart’s course, titled “Function and Beauty: Mastering the Art and Science of Composite Resins for Functional and Esthetic Success,” focuses on how clinicians can provide a beautiful alternative to porcelain with a prefabricated veneer system that is predictable, affordable, and profitable. Dr. Stewart’s course will feature both a lecture and a hands-on component where dental professionals will apply their knowledge by practicing the techniques used to place composite veneers. Each course will give clinicians the opportunity to earn up to four continuing education credits.
Dr. Stewart has been practicing in Flower Mound, Texas, since 1990. He is a Level IV graduate of OBI (Orognathic Bioesthetics International) and currently serves on its faculty. Dr. Stewart has studied extensively at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry. He has lectured all over the country on bioesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, practice management, and building meaningful patient–doctor relationships. Dr. Stewart has served as president of the Texas Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Ultradent Products, Inc. Announces Dr. Dan E. Fischer Seminar Dates

read more »Ultradent Products, Inc. is proud to announce the 2013 dates for several continuing education seminars with Dr. Dan E. Fischer. The course, titled “Lessons of the Downturn: Positioning for the Future,” will give clinicians up to eight continuing education credits.
Dr. Fischer’s seminar will focus on helping dental practices weather the economic downturn through technological advancements in restorative and esthetic dentistry. This will include a discussion on the importance that direct veneers and esthetic composite restorations play in the reconstruction of anterior teeth, advancements in bonding technologies, and how to achieve profound hemostasis through the use of tissue management techniques. Dr. Fischer will also address the foundational role prevention plays in quality dentistry.
Dr. Dan E. Fischer graduated from Loma Linda University in 1974. Following graduation, Dr. Fischer maintained a full-time private practice for fifteen years. Since 1990 he has worked extensively in research and development but still maintains a part-time practice with an emphasis on esthetic dentistry. He is president and CEO of Ultradent Products, Inc. and is extensively involved in the R&D of many products used in the dental profession. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at Loma Linda University and the University of Texas at San Antonio. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the AACD in 2005, and he was inducted into the American College of Dentists in October 2011.
