Increasingly, insurance-driven dental practices result in dentists and teams that are exhausted, frustrated, and generally burnt out. Many of us seem to be working harder without realizing more income. This course will provide a roadmap for doing more elective, fee-for-service procedures. Both through increasing confidence to diagnose and refining clinical skills for elective cosmetic procedures, dentists can refocus their practices. Composite Craft: Interactive Posterior Workshop with Anterior Esthetic Insights
This hands-on workshop is designed to enhance your skills in posterior and anterior fillings. Participants will gain practical experience with matrix systems for restoring posterior Class II fillings, focusing on achieving optimal contacts and occlusion. The course will cover material selection, layering methods, and ensuring natural looking restorations. This course will also cover anterior esthetic composite set up and review of shade selection, fabrication of a lingual putty matrix with utilizing a 3D printer, and achieving natural looking results with methodical contouring and polishing.
Course Objectives:
- Acquire hands-on skills for precise posterior composite fillings and achieving optimal contacts
- Understand key concepts of anterior composite restorations, including systematic start-to-finish steps from planning to final polishing
- Learn effective material selection and application techniques for anterior and posterior restorations

As an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, she belongs to a distinguished group of professionals worldwide. Dr. Desai has been honored as a top dentist in Orange County for the past five years and was recognized as one of the Top 40 Dentists under 40 in the nation. Her contributions to dentistry include publications in prestigious dental journals and international speaking engagements, leveraging her expertise to advance the field. A graduate of the Kois Institute, Dr. Desai holds degrees in Dental Hygiene and Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California.
