Getting the Maximum Usage of Your Diode Lasers
This one-day course will create an atmosphere for experience honing your dental laser to maximize its usage. The course will be half didactic and half hands-on to make sure the clinician is able to utilize the laser in following procedures: frenectomies, biopsies, troughing, esthetic re-contouring, creating ovate pontics, laser-assisted periodontal therapy, laser bacterial reduction, photobiomodulation, treating erosive lichen planus, angular colitis, nerve regeneration, tissue segmentation, laser desensitizing, and many more. Emphasis will be placed on the participants doing correct techniques with the laser for optimum results and patient comfort.
We will cover the following:
- Learn how to incorporate photobiomodulation for everyday usage
- Increase your speed with your laser with proper techniques
- Learn procedures to treat that you might otherwise refer out (biopsies, frenectomies, laser-assisted periodontal therapy, esthetic crown lengthening, and more)
- Learn to do non-invasive periodontal treatment, with proven results
This laser training course meets the required amount of laser training, safety, and hands-on requirements in Ohio.
Dr. Edward Kusek
Edward R. Kusek is a registered course provider for the Academy of Laser Dentistry (one of 14 worldwide). He lectures nationally and internationally on the use of dental lasers and dental implants. Dr. Kusek has been named one of Dentistry Today's Leaders in Continuing Education from 2016 to the present. He has a Mastership from ALD and AGD, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry as well as an adjunct professor for the South Dakota Dental Hygiene School and the University of Nebraska Dental School. Dr. Kusek is also a past president of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
