Exploring Restorative Solutions: Adhesives, Light Curing, Cementation, and Beyond
This course provides practicing dentists with the opportunity to compare and contrast the bond strengths of various adhesives currently available on the market. Participants will explore the latest curing light technologies and assess offerings from multiple manufacturers. We will examine various matrices and ring systems, evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of each. Attendees will leave with clear protocols for cementation and bonding for all types of current indirect restorations. Additionally, you will be encouraged to ask questions and seek the insights necessary to enhance and streamline your daily practice.
We will cover the following:
- Review the bond strengths associated with 20 different adhesives, enhancing your knowledge of material performance
- Learn the impact of adhesive application techniques on bond strength, enabling you to optimize adhesion in various contexts
- Explore an overview of current curing light technologies, along with a comparative analysis of the performance of various curing lights
- Learn detailed cementation protocols for all contemporary types of dental prostheses, ensuring effective and reliable application in clinical practice
- Explore the advantages and disadvantages of various matrix and ring systems, equipping you with the insights needed to make informed decisions in your work
- Soft tissue management presents unique challenges in clinical practice. In this module, you will learn a variety of techniques to effectively manage soft tissue, including the application of laser technology.
Dr. Shea Bess
Dr. Shea Bess graduated from the University of Utah in 1998 in Medical Biology and received his DDS from Loma Linda University in 2002. Dr. Bess lectures all over the United States on cosmetic and restorative dentistry while running a busy dental practice in South Jordan, Utah.
