Ultradent’s Anatomical Matrix System

​Ultradent announces the release of the Anatomical Matrix System, complete with a patented matrix and retainer clamp design. The specialized design of the matrix and retainer clamp result in restorations that mimic the natural curvatures of a tooth. 

The system includes four distinct shape matrices providing options for different size teeth. The thin and flexible material allows the bands to conform to any tooth surface. The specialized contours ensure that the matrix will not catch on the gingival margin during placement. The matrices are interchangeable with all brands of sectional retainers. 
The system includes one distinct retainer clamp shape which can be used with any shape and size of tooth. The clamp stacks easily allowing the sides of the tooth to be held in a matrix at the same time. The clamp tines are contoured to fit precisely with the matrix bands resulting in multiple contact points and minimizing the extra space created between the teeth. All rubber dam forceps and other sectional matrix forceps can be used to place the retainer clamps.
